This club meets on Mondays during club time, and every other week after school TBD. We are open to all high school students with prior experience and a passion for art. Interested students must sign up with Mrs. Raper in the Art Department or visit our booth at the Club Fair.

Best Buddies is the world’s largest organization dedicated to ending the social, physical, and economic isolation of the 200 million people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). This program empower the special abilities of people with IDD by helping them form meaningful friendships with their peers.

In this club, we will play a variety of board and card games. Some of the games will be classics that you are probably familiar with, but there will also be an opportunity to learn games that are new to you. Bring your friends to enjoy some fun!

All book lovers! Gather together to read and relax with Instrumental music. This will be silent reading time. Bring your book every Monday and we will read either in Mrs. Chaney’s classroom, or out in the grass. In order to broaden our horizons, we will discuss our current books or favorite books once a month. It’s a great opportunity to read for fun, or get your reading done for your Comp class!

Clash of Clans is a club about a mobile game that is about strategy and attacking other people's clans. In this club, we will be creating bases and improving them as the school year goes on and talk about how to improve our club in the future.

Cosmetology Club is a club for those who are interested in beauty and makeup.

Welcome to Create For Kids, where we use the power of art to bring smiles to hospitalized children. We know that being in a hospital can be tough for kids and their families, which is why we provide a variety of creative activities to make their stay a little brighter. We believe that art is a vital component of the healing process, and we strive to create a nurturing environment that promotes creativity and smiles. Our volunteers are passionate about their work and are dedicated to making a lasting impact on children’s lives.

The D&D club is a club for adventure, and being what you want in a fantasy world. We work not only to have a fun tabletop experience but to also work on valuable traits like teamwork and problem-solving. So if you like adventure and fantasy the D&D club is for you!

Join the Disc Golf Club at PHS to learn more about the sport, how to play, or continue to master your craft! Bring your own discs to start with! Come chat with Mrs Knox on club days if you are interested in joining the Disc Golf Club!

Earth club is an easy way to get involved not just in our school but in the community as well. Every Monday, Earth Club members collect the recycling from a different hallway. Earth club members are granted the opportunity to participate in a variety of projects that reflect a positive change in our community. For example, last year's members aided in the creation of the bottle cap mural in the front of the school. A student's participation in this club is a great thing to include on job resumes and college applications.

FCCLA offers members the opportunity to expand their leadership potential and develop skills for life—planning, goal setting, problem solving, decision making, and interpersonal communication—all necessary within the home and workplace. FCCLA is unique among youth organizations because its programs are planned and run by members. It is the only Career and Technical in-school Student Organization with family as its central focus. 

FCCLA members will strengthen skills, forge friendships, and make a positive difference in today’s world through participation in Competitive Events, serving in leadership positions, attending conferences locally and across the nation, networking with youth leaders, and attaining essential college- and career-ready skills.

The purpose of FCA is to bring Christian athletes together to see the world impacted for Jesus Christ through the influence of athletes and coaches. As a club we meet every club day in room 135A. Other activities include sending kids to summer sports camps, going on retreats, and encouraging students to get involved. The Fellowship of Christian Athletes is touching millions of lives...one heart at a time. Since 1954, FCA has been challenging coaches and athletes on the professional, college, high school, junior high and youth levels to use the powerful platform of sport to reach every coach and every athlete with the transforming power of Jesus Christ. FCA focuses on serving local communities around the globe by engaging, equipping and empowering coaches and athletes to unite, inspire and change the world through the gospel.

We travel to conferences in Grand Junction and Denver. If we win at district and state, we will also go to a national convention in a large city in the United States. You have the opportunity to network with students around the state and gain valuable leadership skills that will help you throughout life. There will be fundraisers and participation in community service. Our meetings are on club day and we have an after school activity once per month.

Interact is a service oriented club that focuses on serving both our local and global communities. The Interact club works with the Palisade Sunrise Rotary and is recognized by every university for its community support. Some of our projects have included donating water filters in the Dominican Republic, helping orphans in Uganda receive an education, and even providing local support to the Western Slope Center for Children. If you like to provide service to others then this is a club for you. It also looks great on a college resume. If you are interested in a student-led service group please come see us on club days.

Palisade Skills is a club of students, teachers and industry representatives working together to ensure our community has a skilled workforce. Palisade Skills is an organization serving teachers and high school students who are preparing for careers in technical, skilled and service occupations.

This club's objective is to design, build, and launch rockets while prioritizing safety. During Club days, we will be building rockets. Outside of school, we will be launching our rockets in designated areas outside of school grounds. We aim to participate in various competitions and gain hands-on experience in rocketry.

Speech & Debate Club is a great place for students to improve and showcase their public speaking skills and logical argument. We will discuss current issues and fun topics that lend themselves to dramatic interpretation or debate. If you are going to be on the Palisade Speech & Debate team, this club is a great way to hone your skills and prepare for upcoming tournaments!

The Student-Led Equity Council is a group that advocates for student equity within the school environment. We started right here at Palisade High School 4 years ago and have been able to work with a variety of different middle and high schools to educate school staff and students on ways we can ensure academic equity and therefore success in classrooms! Apart from working with these schools we have also given multiple presentations to Colorado Mesa University students (undergraduate and graduate) and have worked with district leaders to spread the message of classroom equity for all students district wide. Now you might be wondering, what exactly do we advocate for? Well, through the years we have been able to work on making dress codes less biased against girls, changing the 2 color cap and gown based on gender to be one color to acknowledge non-binary students’ decisions, using our $10,000 grant from the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation to provide resources for our own members to grow our knowledge and understanding of building an equitable community in schools and also to give out micro-grants to other schools to start their own! We have accomplished so much in the last 4 years and hope to continue with the support of the school and city community to allow every student enrolled in the public education system in Mesa County to have the ability to succeed!

The Mosaic is a LGBTQ+ club. The purpose of this club is to create a safe and healthy environment for all LGBTQ+ students attending PHS. We plan to share experiences with each other, raise money for those in need, and provide support to students who are struggling. We providing snacks, a safe place for all to go, basic necessities, and a Question of the Day focused around LGBT identity. Everyone is welcome to attend, just please be kind and respectful towards all!

This club meets Wednesdays on the stage. This group is open to anyone interested in acting, backstage roles, or just supporting theatre at PHS. We discuss upcoming theatre events at PHS and the community, and provide opportunities to get involved. We also play theatre games, and work on theatre skills. This club is considered a path for anyone interested in joining the International Thespian Society. Come explore what theatre is all about. Limited to 30 students.
